In collaboration with the Regenesis Institute, co-hosts Lara Hunt and Drika Horton have stewarded The Regenerative Practitioner series in Australia over the past three years. This project has formed to further grow a community of Regenerative Development practice across a diversity of disciplines in Australia, while cultivating a culture of care for Country. We are dedicated to developing regenerative ways of working and being, that are informed by the innate potential of people and place and are in reciprocity with the unique ecology of Australia.
The Regenerative Practitioner series is an educational program that aims to bring our systems back into alignment with the vitality and wisdom of the natural world. Regenerative Development practice is based in the premise that we cannot make the outer transformations required to create a truly sustainable world without making the inner transformations in how we think, how we work, and who we are. Through generating new patterns of thinking and understanding whole systems, we can design our living communities in ways that are in harmony with the natural living world we are part of.
The Regenerative Practitioner series runs with a deep respect and value of the Indigenous ways of knowing which are inherent to the Australian landscape and First Peoples. And asks, what shifts do we need to make within ourselves and our practices so we can allow our own inherent knowing and the voice of Country into expression once again?
